eGavel is built to be used by Corporate Trust Auction Agents, Transfer Agents, internal audit departments, and internal administrators. Its permissioning system allows its functionality to be displayed based on the user's role
eGavel serves as the central repository for all security, position, and bid data for auction rate securities. The system runs in the auction agent's data center and is completely configurable.

eGavel is a browser-based application that runs on your firm's intranet. That means that each user only needs a web browser in order to use the system. The actual eGavel application is typically installed in your firm's data center. Napa Group will work with your IT staff to deploy eGavel in a way that makes the most sense for you.
eGavel's automated processes eliminate the need to manually update bidding rights or type in orders. The industry-standard file formats it imports and exports open up eGavel to all the key broker/dealers on the street.

Also, the reports that it generates eliminate the need to manually calculate auction results, settlement instructions, interest, commissions, and fees. The system does everything for you, allowing you to focus on building your business.
Your contract allows for an unlimited number of users and securities. Your only practical limitation is disk space.
Of course it’s safe. eGavel is installed on your firm's intranet, not the Internet. This means the application and all its underlying data are accessible only to privileged users at your firm.

Access to the application, the underlying data, and each screen can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

eGavel has been in production for years at the leading auction agents in the industry. That means that not only has it been thoroughly tested, but chances are the feature you are looking for is already captured in the system.

If eGavel doesn't come pre-configured with a certain report that you need, you can use the Ad Hoc Query feature to almost instantly get to the data you need. This feature lets a report be added to the system without having to update your software.

If you do happen to want a new feature or report, we’ll work with you to determine what you want and how to best add it to the application.

Some other companies conceal your data, providing you with only a limited interface to generate reports or perform analysis. eGavel gives you all the tools to retrieve the information you need. We’re here to help, or you can even do it without us.

eGavel was designed to allow maximum flexibility by providing a series of system settings that can be configured when the application is installed. You can configure things like password settings, provide your firm's logo for reports, and update DTC Codes and wiring instructions. All without any programming changes.

Additionally, if the current version of eGavel doesn't track a certain data field that is important to you, we offer customizable fields to capture the information. For example, if you need to track a special property of a security, there is no need to call Napa to add the field. You can add it yourself without any programming changes.
eGavel is licensed, not sold and the pricing model couldn't be simpler. You are charged monthly based on the average outstanding size of the securities you process with eGavel. There are no transaction fees, no per-trade or per-user costs, no data storage fees, and no hidden monthly costs.

The monthly licensing fee includes all regular updates to the application that result from continuous testing and client feedback.

Your firm owns the underlying hardware and, typically, eGavel can reside on servers already in use by your firm.

Napa Group also provides proprietary software development and additional consulting services as per our standard contract.
