Most broker/dealers offer little or no ongoing information to the issuers, trustees, and obligors (ITOs for short) for whom they act as remarketing agents. If they do provide any type of information, it is usually in the form of an unorganized, incomplete spreadsheet or even worse, a fax. STARTex eliminates this problem by automating the delivery of information to ITOs.
ITO users can:
- View the weighted average rate for each security or view the full details for each rate reset.
- View a summary or detailed schedule of expected interest payments by security or by dealer.
- Research security characteristics, such as ratings, lead, tax status, trading denomination, reset and interest payment frequency.
All of this information is updated in real-time, allowing the dealers to perform their daily tasks knowing that their ITOs have the most recent data at their fingertips. These value-added features also save the trading desks from having to generate then fax or email volumes of reports to the interested parties.
